WagTime Recycled Curved Dematting Rake - Small

The WagTime Recycled Curved Dematting Rake helps remove small mats and stubborn tangles by gently cutting through them instead of being cut out with scissors, which leaves harsh lines and gaps.

What’s even better is the rake is made with recycled materials, offering a more sustainable grooming option.

 

Directions:

To use, slide the rake under the mat and gently comb through, holding the mat in your fingers to prevent pulling the skin. You may need to raise the rake up and away from the mat as you comb to help separate the tangles.

We recommend using the WagTime Recycled Pin & Bristle Brush or the WagTime Recycled Slicker Brush in conjunction with this tool for removing loose hair and untangling as you go.

Be sure to use with the sharp side of the rake facing up away from your pet’s skin.
Ideal for long, curly, thick or double coat types.

If you are unable to get the rake between the mat and the skin, we recommend talking to your groomer to assist you in cutting the mat out with clippers.

Ensure you always brush in the same direction as the hair grows to avoid any tangles and minimise pulling and discomfort for your pet.
